Starting from 8-16 weeks, we’ll help you train your puppy at home with minimal distractions so that they can focus on their commands.
During Puppy Training we focus on potty training, crate training, and stopping typical puppy nonsense such as nipping, biting, and barking. This maximizes the attention the pups and the owner get from the trainer and focuses them on behaving in the context of their daily environment.
Once they understand how to behave in the house, have learned all their basic commands, and get their final vaccinations we transition them to classes around other dogs, owners, and often children.
For new dog owners, we are also happy to help you prepare for an arriving puppy with the proper set up for their new home. Six one-hour sessions are typically needed for puppy training.
DURING PUPPY TRAINING WE FOCUS ON:
Potty Training
We implement a structured schedule to guide your puppy toward proper elimination habits. This schedule not only aids in bladder control but also allows owners to predict and manage their puppy's routine, making your home a clean and comfortable environment for both of you.
Crate Training
We introduce your puppy to crate training, and crate in and out drills to instill a sense of security and promoting good behavior when left alone.
Basic Commands
Sit, stay, come, and more! We believe in the power of communication, teaching your puppy essential commands. We teach the puppy how to stop behaviors you do not like and train the ones you want.
Flexible Training Options:
While our preference is to conduct training within the comfort of your own home, we understand that not everyone may be within our service area.
In such cases, you're welcome to join us at our location, where we provide a sanitized puppy setup to ensure a safe and hygienic learning environment
